About Us

An independent lab bridging heritage and industry.

Matlab Diagnostics tests what things are actually made of — from industrial alloy batches to antique stoves and fittings passed down for generations — and puts a name and a number on every element we find, good or bad. Preserving the Past, Powering the Future.

Why verification matters

A report is only useful if it can be trusted

Every certificate we issue carries a Lab Ref. No, is countersigned by our Head of Laboratory Service, and — once verified — a unique code. Anyone holding a copy can check it against our register in seconds, free, without an account, on our public verification page. A copy without a matching register entry should be treated as unconfirmed.

Quality & standards

How we keep every report honest

Two-person sign-off

The analyst who runs the assay is never the one who verifies it — every report needs the Head of Laboratory Service's countersignature before it's marked genuine.

A register, not just a PDF

Every verification code is checked against our own register on request — a document is only as good as our ability to confirm we actually issued it.

Flags stay visible

A sample that doesn't meet our threshold is flagged for review with a reason on file — it's never quietly re-tested until it passes.
